Go fishing in one of the best fly+fishing rivers of Norway, rent kayaks, get your personal fishing guide who knows the river as no one else, learn how to fly+fish, improve your fly+fishing skills by following workshops, or simply rent one of their apartments and enjoy the wonderful nature in the direct surroundings. Additionally to their apartments, they have a great place to sit outside and have a barbeque.

From January until the end of March it is possible to make spectacular trips with the dog sled in the surroundings of Osen (Hedmark). From just short trips up to multiple day trips and from routes through the forest to routes through the mountains, it is all possible here.
An experienced guide will train you and join you out in the incredible wilderness of Hedmark. An experience you will never forget!
Deset and the surroundings are great for biking. There are many forest roads where you can bike for days through the most beautiful nature. Since the landscape has a large variety, it is possible to choose easy flat routes or harder steeper routes. There are also some routes marked out for you. Take a look at this website for the biking routes in the area.
It is not yet possible to rent mountainbikes in the area, but we hope to change that soon.
Osensjøens Adventure offers a great variety of outdoor activities. You can rent kayaks or canoes, just for a short trip or for multiple day guided tours over the beautiful lake Osensjøen. They have a beach with a water trampoline and in the winter you can go skiing in the area.

Deset is a great place to go hiking. In a two minute walk you are in a beautiful nature area with plenty of paths and forest roads to choose from. It is a quite flat area, so it is easy to walk here and the famous Pilgrim route to Trondheim passes through this same area. If you want to make longer and harder hikes, in just a few minutes drive north you are in Rendalen where you can hike up one of the many mountains and hike for days through the typical Norwegian rocky mountain areas. There are many cabins in this area which you can use.
