Your Norwegian Nature

This six day long tour will push you to your limits. With huskies you will be brought into the mountains of Dovrefjell, where you will stay for 4 days. You will photograph these stunning animals in the harsh Norwegian winter conditions, with temperatures dropping below -20 degrees. This tour is not for the faint hearted.

Join us on one of our tours to one of the most beautiful areas of Europe, the Lofoten islands. Steep, snow-covered, mountains rise straight out of the intense blue colored fjords. Lakes and puddles are frozen solid and even the rocky coastline can be covered in a thick layer of ice. Picturesque (red) fishermen villages are dotted along the main road which winds through Lofoten and create a pleasant contrast in color with all the blue and grey of the snow and ice. The hours of daylight are limited during the winter period, but when there is sunlight, it is beautiful of color and intensity. And even with “bad” weather, the dark clouds and grey skies give the already rugged landscape something extra sinister. Lofoten during winter… a paradise for every landscape photographer.

Join us on this intense nature photography tour to one of the most stunning islands of Norway, Senja.  Dramatic landscapes, spectacular northern light, stunning sunrises / sunsets and Nordic wildlife will pass in front of your lens from day to day. The tour leader Floris Smeets (Sony ambassador) has been guiding in this area for several years and will make sure you will get the maximum out of every photo opportunity. 

This tour is packed with photo possibilities. You will have chances to photograph black grouse during their impressive courtship in winter conditions. Additionally, you will be able to use other photo hides to photograph small singing birds and woodpecker.

This one week tour is packed with photo opportunities! Photograph black grouse, capercaillie, osprey and small singing birds from hides, go on driven safaris in order to photograph willow grouse, moose, roe deer and crane, and search for the mysterious great grey owl or the aggressive northern hawk owl. 

An exciting photo expedition to Svalbard, the home of the polar bears. Two guides lead you through this breathtaking ice landscape in search for polar bears, arctic fox, walrus, reindeer and stunning landscapes. With zodiac boats you will be able to get close and personal with the local wildlife.   

Join Staffan Widstrand to Varanger, a true paradise for the bird photographer. Photograph King Eider, Steller’s Eider, Gyrfalcon and a great variety of sea-birds on the cliffs. For the Eider ducks you will use the famous floating hides in order to get the best images. Additionally you will visit the bird island of Hornøya, one of Europe’s finest and most accessible sea-bird cliff colonies. 

Join Staffan Widstrand to Varanger, a trou paradise for the bird photographer. Photograph lekking ruffs from photo hides, visit the famous bird island Hornøya for puffins, razorbills and other species on the bird cliffs. Search for the northern hawk owl and many other stunning species.
